Ideally located on a hillside between the Nebrodi and the Madonie Parks, Pettineo links its history to Halaesa, a village founded by Sicilian-Greeks at the end of the 5th Century B.C., and to the history of the powerful Ventimiglia family.

 

This documentary shows what is left of the thousand year existence of a country that protects and preserves its roots in the picturesque architectural, civil and religious vestiges surviving today, enhancing the tow, and its traditions.
